Architecting a family-first digital experience

When Katie Hersey approached me, she had a clear vision: her digital presence needed to reflect her team’s deeply personal, family-style approach to real estate. She gave me the creative reigns to build a platform that felt as warm as a home visit but as high-performing as a top-tier firm. I translated her philosophy into a curated, portfolio-style grid that allowed prospective clients to explore listings through an intimate, narrative lens.

Utilizing her existing logo as a foundation, I implemented strategic updates to the brand’s color palette and typography to elevate the visual narrative. This evolution allowed me to establish unshakeable brand recognition across all social channels and real estate platforms, ensuring the Hersey brand felt both premium and deeply rooted in the local community.

With this vector graphic I was able to easy create custom sweatshirts, beanies, mugs, office sticker decals, customizable client gifts and my favorite… Hersey Homes oven mitts!

Seamless conversion & tech stack management

I didn't just build a website; I engineered a lead-generation machine. By integrating RealScout Inc. directly into the portfolio grid phots, I empowered buyers to initiate tours and access real-time property data without leaving the site.

To eliminate the friction of manual booking, I deployed an Acuity Scheduling automation synced with the team's Google Calendars, allowing for instant, high-efficiency appointment management and approval.

I architected the Hersey-Homes digital presence with a 'local-first' SEO strategy designed to dominate the Gig Harbor and South Sound search landscape. By optimizing the site’s metadata, image alt-text, and geo-targeted keywords, I ensured the team appeared where it mattered most: at the top of organic searches for local luxury real estate. I curated high-value blog content and area-specific landing pages that acted as 'digital magnets,' capturing high-intent leads and establishing the Hersey’s as the definitive local experts.

Operational excellence & workflow automation

To keep a high-performing team moving, I designed and managed a seamless internal workflow via Asana. I built custom project templates and automated weekly meeting agendas to track new material, events, and listing milestones. Each team member could now seamlessly from within the office to a remote location, could approve, deny and flag current status of any project. This operational backbone allowed the team to stop worrying about the 'how' and focus entirely on the 'who'—their clients.

High-end branding & Multi-Channel Campaigns

I developed a comprehensive marketing library that ensured brand consistency at every touchpoint. This included:

  • Curated prints - Designed custom-bound luxury booklets for elite communities like Canterwood and specialized guest guides for their Packwood Airbnb.

  • Stationary - Curated custom note pads, business cards, thank you and greeting cards to easily grab and go for the Hersey’s next appointment.

  • Client Conversion: Created high-impact Buyer and Seller Presentation Guides used in successful million-dollar listing appointments.

  • Dynamic Social: Developed a suite of Instagram Carousel and Postcard templates for 'Just Listed' and 'Just Sold' campaigns to maintain market dominance.

  • Content Strategy: Authored weekly newsletters and blog posts to drive organic SEO and keep the community engaged with local real estate tips, recipes, seasonal crafts and market stats.
