The Ember & Bloom Commitment
Your order is prepared, packaged and labeled for every item and baked fresh specifically for you. Because all Ember & Bloom’s treats are gluten-free and vegan while using all organic ingredients, they are made without common preservatives and are highly perishable within a few days. In addition to Washington Cottage Law, this is why shipping is not an option for these products at this time. Ember & Bloom Bakery cannot hold orders indefinitely or resell items that are not collected. Here’s what you need to know:
Pickup Details for Gluten-free & Vegan Baked Goods
Pickup Day: Every Friday
Time Window: 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: Precious Collective Boutique (4641 Point Fosdick Dr #400, Gig Harbor)
What if I Miss the Friday Pickup?
If you cannot make the standard Friday window, please notify Brittany immediately via text or by replying to your order confirmation email.
Grace Period: Your order will be held at Precious Collective Boutique until Saturday at 12:00 PM (Noon). This is the absolute final time the location can safely store your treats.
Saturday Deadline: If your order is not picked up by Saturday at 12:00 PM, it will be discarded.
Important please read! No Refunds for missed pickups due to the perishable nature of Ember & Bloom Bakery’s gluten-free and vegan products and the fact that they are baked and prepared just for you, Ember & Bloom Bakery cannot offer refunds or credits for orders that are not picked up by the Saturday at Noon deadline. Please be sure to confirm the pickup time and location before submitting your order. You can always arrange for a friend or family member to pick up your order for you if you cannot make it!
Custom Cake & Cupcake Orders
For all Custom Cake and Cupcake Orders, Ember & Bloom requires a minimum of 2 weeks advance notice. This timeframe allows the bakery to secure specialty ingredients and ensure all design specifications can be met perfectly. Your custom order is confirmed only once an invoice is sent via Ember & Bloom and full payment is received from the customer. Any final changes to the design, size, or flavors must be submitted at least 7 days prior to your event date. Your custom creation will be delivered to the Precious Collective Boutique pickup location the day prior to your event for convenient collection. Please note that while we welcome inspiration photos, these serve as a guide only; Ember & Bloom maintains creative discretion to match the spirit of your request with the bakery's unique, signature style.
Merchandise FAQs
Merchandise (apparel, totes, etc.) is handled separately as it is print-on-demand through the partner, Printful, and is not available for Friday bakery pickup. Fulfillment requires 2–5 business days of production time, followed by standard shipping (typically 3–4 business days). You will receive a separate tracking number for these items. Because they are printed specifically for the customer, Ember & Bloom cannot offer refunds or exchanges for simple buyer's remorse (e.g., ordering the wrong size or color). If a customer receives a misprinted, damaged, or defective item, please contact Ember & Bloom with photos within 7 days of delivery for a free replacement.
Ember & Bloom Bakery Return Policy
As a cottage license bakery specializing in fresh, homemade baked goods, I do not accept returns or exchanges on my products. If you are dissatisfied with your order please text Brittany at 253.576.5236 or contact by email at info@emberandbloombakery.com. All baked goods are "final sale" due to their perishable nature. I am unable to accept a return after a product has been delivered. I take great care to ensure every item is baked to the highest standards of quality. If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact me within 24 hours of delivery. I will review the situation and work with you to find an appropriate solution. Your satisfaction is very important to me!
