the brand & design
A cohesive brand system extends beyond the digital space. This identity was developed to maintain visual integrity across various textures—from canvas tote bags to high-contrast thermal labels—ensuring a premium customer experience at every touchpoint in Gig Harbor.
Beyond the digital storefront, I architected a cohesive physical brand identity utilizing Figma, Canva Pro, Gemini Pro, and Inkscape. This involved transitioning core vector assets into production-ready designs for high-quality merchandise and retail labeling. I managed the full lifecycle from conceptual mockups to current physical execution.
the automated campaigns & e-newsletters
I specialize in turning brand followers into loyal advocates through high-conversion email architecture. By blending human-centered storytelling with automated workflows. I ensure the brand voice remains consistent from the first welcome email to every product launch. My approach focuses on clean visual hierarchy, mobile-optimized layouts, and strategic CTA placement to drive measurable ROI. I use tracking via Google Analytics, Squarespace, pretty much any of my content that has trackable data…I’m always watching. I strategically choose where to invest my time week to week and create automations to do the work on my behalf so I can get back to the kitchen.
Instead of a what we used to call “sales breath” in the real estate world, I have a heartfelt approach that comes directly from yours truly and my site. My weekly newsletter offers my Ember & Bloom fam a genuine look into my life and kitchen, upcoming events, local shout outs, along with a peek at what others are buying.
Rather than eroding margins with constant sitewide promotions, I offer targeted incentives — welcome discounts for first-time customers, savings for orders that meet a specified threshold, and timely reminders for abandoned carts — all designed to reward loyalty and encourage meaningful purchases. People love it and keep coming back!
My traffic comes either organically from search or from my Instagram followers directly to my site. I integrate exciting Instagram stories and new product feedback into forms for my followers. They help me choose new flavors, product ideas, etc. so they feel like they have a voice (which they always have here). I noticed a spike in these situations to I continued to do them and continued to grow. The last one I ran for my gluten-free & vegan pocket pastries shot my stories view time to 10K in one week!
It’s honest, effective, and feels like a conversation rather than a pitch.
Social Media
I architected a 'Drop-Model' marketing strategy for Ember & Bloom, utilizing limited-edition releases to drive urgency and brand loyalty. Each launch is supported by a cross-channel campaign—from teaser reels and stories on Instagram to email flows—ensuring the brand stays top-of-mind for the gluten-free and vegan niche community.
If I stopped there, I’d be cutting myself short…it’s much more than that.
If you’ve read my About page, you might already know this little business began because my health changed everything in my life. I couldn’t drive, could barely walk, let alone stand. SPS came out of nowhere — and, in hindsight, it was exactly the nudge I needed to shift how I show up in the world. It meant no more driving to meet real estate clients, no more pushing myself for long shifts at a bakery to cover the rest of my cost of living. It changed my circle, reset how I utilize my energy, and opened space for my creativity to flourish.
Back then, showing up on social media for real estate felt like wearing a veil — a “hat” everyone says to take off, but I couldn’t seem to. I could be efficiently creative for other agents and their brands, but not for my own. With Ember & Bloom that veil is gone. I finally get to be my authentic, sweet, quirky self (yes, even with the bread puns — people genuinely love them). The Gig Harbor community that I once worried might see right through me instead embraced this bakery quickly and warmly.
The niche I’d been searching for found me: women who come back again and again. But Ember & Bloom is more than gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan baked goods. Because of my story, I’ve also become a touchpoint for people with autoimmune conditions. I’ve been told I give them inspiration and a voice they’ve been too afraid to use. That—that is purpose. And it keeps blooming in the most beautiful ways.
This is exactly how I keep showing up, gracefully but unapologetically. I get people excited, laughing, give them pretty pictures of delish baked goods to look at without pushing products all the time. They buy because they want to support me.
